This is where to write if something is broken, if a figure looks wrong, or if you need a calculator we have not built yet. Replies come from a person; there is nothing automated here.
Write to the address below. We normally reply within a few working days. If you are reporting a fault, the calculator's name, the numbers you entered and what you expected to see are enough for us to reproduce it.
The app has no account and no sign-up, so there is no record of yours for us to look up. Everything we can know about a problem has to come from your message.
Tell us. Under every result is the VID page a rate came from and the date it was checked, precisely so that someone other than us can check the working. If a rate has changed, or we got it wrong, we correct it and the verification date changes with it.
One caveat worth saying plainly: the calculations are informative. They do not replace an accountant and they are not an official VID calculation. If a decision depends on a figure, check it against the source we point you at as well.
That is intended behaviour, not a fault. Some calculators are built but show no result, because a rate they need is not yet confirmed on VID's public page. When that happens the app names the exact figure it is missing and points at the source that will confirm it.
We do not show a guess and we do not carry last year's rate forward. A number that looks right and is not is worse than no number at all.
Tell us which one. It is among the most useful messages we can get — the list grows from what people actually look for rather than from what we imagine they need.
The figures you type into a calculator are computed on your device and are not sent anywhere. No IP address, no device identifier and no advertising identifier is stored. The full description is in the privacy policy.

This is an independent, privately run site and app. It is not operated or endorsed by the State Revenue Service or any other public authority. We cite the rates VID publishes and name the source, but we do not represent VID.
We normally answer email within two working days. A report of a wrong rate is the one thing we look at the same day, because an incorrect tax figure is the single error this site cannot afford to leave online even overnight.
No. This is an independent private site, unconnected to the State Revenue Service, VSAA or any other authority. We quote the rates they publish and link to them, but we cannot accept a declaration, change your records, or speak on any authority's behalf.
The results are informative. They let you check a payslip or make sense of an offer, but an official calculation — a declaration, a contract, a dispute — belongs with an accountant or the relevant authority, whose figure is the only binding one.
Yes. Both compute with the same piece of code and read the same dated rates file, so the answer cannot differ. If the app shows a different number from the website, that is a bug worth reporting — not two versions on purpose.
