Calculators with a source

Every figure carries a link to the official source and the date it was checked.

57 calculators working, 63 in total — each with a source.

About this section

This is a free calculator site for Latvia. Salary and tax, work and benefits, loans and savings, health, everyday units and maths — all in one place, with no sign-up, no adverts and no charge.

Every figure that comes from law is tied to a source. Under the result it says which State Revenue Service page the rate came from and the date it was checked. Not “approximately”, not “according to our data” — a specific page and a specific date you can open and check yourself.

Some calculators deliberately show no number. They are built, but they are waiting, because the rate or table they need is not yet confirmed on a public official page. When that happens the page names the exact figure it is missing. A number that looks right and is not is worse than no number at all.

Latvian, Russian and English are three equal versions, not translations. Each is written in its own language with its own examples and its own questions, because someone searching in Russian is not searching for the same thing as someone searching in Latvian.

Frequently asked questions

Is the site free, and is an account needed?

Every calculator is free and there is no account at all — no sign-up, no log-in and no paid features. Nothing sits behind an email address, and no calculator becomes available only after registering.

Where do the tax rates come from?

From the State Revenue Service's public pages. Rates are not hard-coded as constants: they come from a dated rates file, and every page shows the source name and the date it was checked, with a link to the page itself. The 2026 rates were checked in August 2026.

Are the numbers I type stored?

No. Every calculation runs in your browser, and no salary, weight or loan amount is sent anywhere. The site stores no IP address, no analytics cookie, no session identifier and no device identifier — and there is no account to attach anything to.

What should I do if a figure looks wrong?

First open the source link under the result and compare the rate with the official page — that is exactly why the link is there. If the rate really does differ, report it on the support page; that is the one kind of report that gets fixed the same day.
