Mans Kalkulators

Finance calculators

Finance calculators: loan payment and total overpayment, savings growth, discount, margin, leasing and deposit. All of them compute from the numbers you enter and use no state-set rate, so the result does not change when the law changes — only when your inputs do.

2 of these calculators are still waiting on official figures and sit at the end of the list.

About this section

The loan calculator shows the total overpayment as well as the monthly payment, because that is the number that changes a decision. Two offers with nearly identical payments can differ by thousands of euros over the term, and the payment alone never reveals it.

None of these calculators send what you type to a server. The computation runs in the browser, as it does everywhere on this site — salaries, loan amounts and savings stay on the device. We count that a page was opened, never what was entered into it.

The currency and inflation calculators are still waiting. Both need a data source that updates on a schedule, and we will publish them only once we are certain which source that is and how often it moves.

Frequently asked questions

Which calculator should I use to compare loans?

The loan calculator, because it shows the total overpayment across the term as well as the monthly payment. Two offers with nearly identical payments can differ by thousands of euro, and it is the overpayment, not the payment, that compares them.

Why does a bank's offer differ from the calculator?

Because the calculator works out a clean annuity from the rate and the term, while a bank's offer also carries an arrangement fee, insurance, an account charge and a variable part that follows Euribor. For comparison, always ask for the annual percentage rate, which includes them.

Do these calculators include tax on returns?

The savings and deposit calculators show a pre-tax result. In Latvia, capital gains and interest income carry personal income tax at a rate VID publishes, so the real balance at the end of the term is lower than the figure shown.

Why do the currency and inflation calculators show nothing?

Because both need data that changes faster than this page does: the European Central Bank's daily rate and the Central Statistical Bureau's price index series. Until those are fetched automatically, the page names what is missing and points at the official source.
